Space Research

Titan Space is a company that specializes in suborbital spaceflight experiments. Their flights are going on a journey to the edge of space, where they can do experiments in weightlessness. These experiments allow scientists to conduct research in microgravity environments without the high cost and logistical challenges of conducting experiments in orbit.

Challenge

There was a missing modern representative website that could provide information about spaceflight experiments. The new website should share the excitement and adventure of suborbital spaceflight, and make it easy for stakeholders and sponsors to learn about the experience. The company recognized the need for a website that would be visually appealing and provide accurate and detailed information about their experiments.

Research

The analysis was based on the mapping of the research process and included understanding stages of sub-orbital trajectory and how working science tests in sub-orbital.

The website design process started with thorough planning, including defining the website's purpose, target audience, and key features.

It involved creating wireframes and mockups to visualize the website's layout and content. The design team worked closely with the company's stakeholders to ensure the design met their expectations.

Wireframes

The wireframing process started with gathering the requirements and identifying the website's key features that we want to present. The design team worked closely with the company's stakeholders (scientists) to understand their vision and requirements for the website.

After gathering the requirements, the design team created a basic layout of the website's content and functionality using a wireframing process. The wireframe represented the skeletal structure of the website, including the placement of the main navigation, header and content sections.

Typography, UI and logo

Typography plays a crucial role in website design, as it affects readability, user experience, and brand identity. We chose dark colors to be closer to the space theme. The goal was also to create a new logo that symbolizes the suborbital flights.

Design

Based on the wireframes what we created based on discussions with stakeholders, I prepared a design for website's layout and content to meet their expectations.

Animations

We decided to create animations that can effectively in a way to enhance the user experience on websites. It provide a visual appeal that can capture the attention of visitors and guide them through the content engagingly and interactively. Animations can be used in a variety of ways, such as to highlight important information on a website.
